Tardy, one of our horses, had a lot of trouble keeping his energy for the four chukkas he was required to play every day. By the end of the 2nd chukka, he was pretty much spent. He would give all he had against the Thoroughbreds, but they were faster and just never seemed to run out of steam. He would always give his heart and soul to Taylor though in every chukka.
When we were at the Lone Star Polocrosse Tournament outside of Austin, Texas, in April, our friends there told us about the Purina Ultium feed. When we returned from the Texas tournaments, we began changing Tardy's feed over to the Ultium. Within a month of feeding Ultium, his stamina had noticeably improved. The difference after these few months is quite remarkable. We are really pleased with the results of this feed. He is faster and doesn't run out of energy nearly like he used to before we switched feeds.
Richard rides a 16 yo Appaloosa gelding we call Bear. We switched him to Ultium, too, and the difference in Bear's speed and stamina is just as remarkable as in Tardy's.
I might add that we have not found it necessary to feed Tardy and Bear the amount of Ultium recommended for their weight, but much less -- Bear even less than Tardy.

These horses were being fed an economy level feed by Purina with additional supplements. This horse owner upgraded to Strategy with no additional supplements and found that not only did they feed less and save $$$$, their horses looked and performed better. Melissa Bryson, owner of these horses was excited to see the results first hand through increased muscle tone and enhanced color in their coats. Three of these horses were rescued and Georgia was purchased, and has been an award winner for six years in both Halter and Showmanship in the Palomino, Quarter Horse and PHA.
